Beginning Tambour Embroidery

Learn the basics of tambour embroidery, used by fashion houses to create beautiful 
embroidered, beaded and sequined clothing. Using the French Luneville-style stitching to embroider and add beads and sequins to fabric, this class will focus on the basics of using the tambour hook, creating the characteristic chain stitch and starting and stopping the thread on the fabric.  All supplies will be included in the cost but specific equipment will need to be supplied by the student.  Please request the equipment list from the shop.  This is a two day class which will conclude on Sunday, June 22. 10:30am-3:00pm
